Born in the Lebanese town of Mayfouq in 1894, Father Antonios Chebli was a writer and a composer. Having joined the Lebanese Maronite Order, he was ordained to the priesthood at the Saints Cyprian and Justina Monastery in Kfifane in 1919. Besides serving as a preacher and spiritual guide and undertaking various spiritual duties in many dioceses, he was dedicated to the collection of the monastic and Lebanese heritages until his death in 1964.
كاتب ومؤلف. ولد في ميفوق (لبنان) عام 1894. راهب لبناني ماروني، سيم كاهناً في دير مار قبريانوس-كفيفان عام 1919. مارس الوعظ والإرشاد والخدم الروحية في عدد من الأبرشيات. إهتم بجمع التراث الرهباني واللبناني. توفي سنة 1964
