EBSCO eBook Academic Collection : EPUB vs PDF

a Guide to Using and Finding EBSCO eBooks

EPUB vs PDF

When accessing or downloading EBSCO eBooks, you may asked to select eBooks in either EPUB or PDF format.

  • EPUB is a file format optimized for viewing on devices. It automatically resizes to fit your screen. EPUB is compatible with many eReaders such as iPad/iPhone, Adobe Digital Editions etc.

  • PDF is not re-flowable, thus its text size cannot be adjusted to be displayed on various devices.
